Health Sciences
The Warren County ATC offers courses that are the foundation for various fields of health services. The health sciences pathway will prepare the student to pursue a career in Medicaid Nurse Assistant (also known as CNA), Phlebotomy Technician or Pharmacy Technician. Students will have the opportunity to obtain industry certifications in all of the above mentioned programs after course completion and after passing the certification examinations. Health Science does have associated fees. Students have the opportunity to earn an MNA, Phlebotomy or Pharmacy Technician certification. Students will also be certified in CPR and First Aid through the American Heart Association.
Students in Health Sciences are members of HOSA, which provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation and recognition exclusively for students enrolled in health science educaiton and biomedical programs or have interest in pursuing careers in health related professions.
